    And to drink? Carol’s daughter, Anna Ward, suggests pairing fruit dumplings with a glass of crisp, light wine. She recommends a bottle made from either Müller-Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, or Riesling grapes—the top three varieties in the Czech Republic, from where this dish hails.
