  4. spinning reel
  5. 6-9’ medium power spinning rod
  6. bucktail jig: fishing for striped bass from a beach or jetty
  7. fluke fishing rig: drift along bottom on sandy shoals, boat fishing for fluke
  8. deadly dick: all around lure for false albacore, bonito, bluefish
  9. robert’s ranger: reel along surface for bluefish
  10. hogy epoxy jig: similar to a deadly dick but flashier
  11. yo-zuri deep diver: for trolling behind a boat or casting into a deep channel
  12. squid jig: jig for squid from a jetty, dock, or from the beach
