Toffee Sauce

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • Salt, to taste

In a heavy bottom saucepan, combine all ingredients. Heat over low and whisk slowly until sugar has dissolved, about 3 minutes. Simmer over medium heat about 10-12 minutes, until reduced to about 2 ½ cups.
