Chocolate Drizzling Sauce

This is a loose sauce for drizzling. For a thicker sauce, use less corn syrup.


  • 4 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

Combine all the ingredients in a small pot over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and stir constantly until all the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a heat-proof container and let cool to room temperature.
