Melon, Mint, & Berry

Heather likes melons, aloe vera, fresh herbs (“they ease inflammation in the body”), lettuces, and greens in her smoothies, as well as healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil (raw and organic), and flax.


  • 2 cups watermelon or in-season melon
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1⁄2 cup blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries
  • 1⁄4 cup fresh mint
  • 1⁄2 cucumber, seeded and peeled
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1⁄2 cup chilled coconut water

Blend all ingredients, adding coconut water until emulsified.

Yield: 1 large serving
