Hazelnut Creamer

Health Benefits: Hazelnut creamer is a rich source of B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acid, and folic acid.


  • 1 cup raw hazelnuts
  • 2 cups water
  • sea salt
  • liquid sweetener (honey, agave, maple syrup), optional

Place the hazelnuts in a bowl and cover with water. Let the nuts soak overnight then drain, discarding the soaking water. Using a blender, puree the soaked hazelnuts with 2 cups of fresh water until smooth, about 2 minutes. Pass the mixture through 3 to 4 layers of cheesecloth or through a nut milk bag. Season hazelnut creamer with a pinch of sea salt and liquid sweetener to taste.

Yield: 3 cups
