Fresh Gimlet

  • 2 ounces gin or vodka
  • 3/4 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice or splash of Rose's lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • * To make simple syrup combine 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of hot water and stir until dissolved.

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and shake well. Serve on the rocks or up. Garnish with a lemon or lime twist.
