Ethel’s Baked Fish

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄4 lbs striped bass or blue fish, filleted and skinned
  • 4 Tbsp homemade barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1⁄2 cup breadcrumbs

Preheat oven to 350°. place fish in a heavy-bottomed baking pan. pour barbecue sauce over each piece and season with salt and pepper to taste. sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top. place towards the center top of the oven. after 10 minutes, or when fish has become firm to the touch, remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes, and then serve.
