- 1 small, ripe banana
- 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 Tbsp. raw almonds
- 1 tsp. honey or maple syrup (if you like it sweet)
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Peel the banana and break into pieces, then put it in the blender with all the other ingredients.
Turn the blender to medium, and blend until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
Pour into 2 glasses and serve right away.
