Daniele’s BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • ¾ cup cider vinegar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Daniele recommends making this sauce one to two days before using it, so the flavors have a chance to meld. If this is for a whole pig (about 250 pounds) multiply this recipe by ten.

In a small saucepan, mix all the ingredients together and simmer over medium-low heat for 30 minutes.
