Batida de Maracujá

- 2 ounces passion fruit juice or ½ of a fresh passion fruit, pulp only
- 1½ ounces condensed milk
- 2 tsp. simple syrup
- 1 splash lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. honey
- Crushed ice
Puree the passion fruit and ice in a blender, then if using actual fruit, strain out the seeds. Add the remaining ingredients and serve in a glass with a sugar
Can be prepared with or without the condensed milk.
Add a shot of cachaça (a liquor made from fermented sugar cane juice, and the main ingredient in Caipirinha, the national cocktail of Brazil) to the above ingredients before blending.
Recipe yields 1 serving.
